David Streefkerk has dedicated the past 20 years to making music sound good. His exceptional talents as both a live and studio engineer have taken him around the world, touring with bands and working on TV and film productions.
He joined Mona Davis in 1996 as the head engineer and creative sound designer. His unique talents bringing another dimension to the creative team with Tom Batoy and Franco Tortora (founding members of Mona Davis Music)
His diligence and attention to absolute quality in his work is obvious in the end product, which is why Mona Davis has succeeded in winning both awards and respect for their productions worldwide.
David has been front of house engineer on tour with bands such as Motley Crue, John Farnham, Sting and U2. He has engineered and produced albums for Noid, Ignite, Blue Killa to name a few. He has also recorded the leading symphonic orchestras in Vienna, London, Berlin, Budapest, Sydney, Melbourne and at Paramount Studios in Hollywood.
Since 2000 David has applied his technical and creative ability to build Mona Davis  Sound Design International into a comprehensive post production unit including dialogue editing, sound effect and music editing, and innovative sound design. Working around the world on projects such as feature films or HBO series. The ability to have work being done simultaneously in every corner of the world, and then to bring all parts together seamlessly has put Mona Davis at the forefront of modern post production. This unique approach has allowed David, and so Mona Davis, to take full advantage of all available talent no matter where they may be and to produce a  superrior end product in less time.
The company, being on the cutting edge of technology can efficiently supply a package for the post production of television shows and feature films. With everything being completed purely in the digital domain this eliminates the need for costly handling of tape stock and the inevitable downtime waiting for transfers and down converts. Also remaining in the digital format ie: Quicktime movies, Pro Tools sessions and Final Cut
